How can women work out what is going on in men's heads?

Q & A

How can women work out what is going on in men's heads?

For example; I had a date on Sunday, he then waits a week to get in touch, i.e. Saturday, texts at 3pm saying, sorry late notice, but friend blown me out, fancy dinner tonight, or if not, then Monday? I was busy, so we are going to speak probably tomorrow, still waiting for him to phone me, maybe he is too shy to phone, oh I don't know, I just wish I understood them?

Dating a guy with a wife…is it ever ok?

Q & A

Dating a guy with a wife…is it ever ok?

A simple answer to this…..No! The question is why would you want to? There are plenty of available men out there so why would you want to get involved with someone who is already with someone else. Apart from the lack of the respect for the wife what about respecting yourself and what you deserve. We all deserve the very best and being with a man in this way surely is not the best?

Interaction with the ex

Q & A

When is it ok to mention you not comfortable with his interaction with his ex?

This is a very interesting question! The truth of the situation is that as much as some men don’t like to get rejected the main masculine overwhelming desire for a chase possibly resulting in a conquest over rides this. It all goes back to caveman times really, the hunter nature coming out in men, but in this day and age with women being just as powerful as men the boundaries have all become a bit blurred.

Can you really respect love if you've not had your heart broken?

Q & A

Can you really respect love if you've not had your heart broken?

It’s always good to be honest as you can hurt someone further by not telling the truth. Plus by telling the truth it can avoid the situation of the other party still having some level of hope in their hearts, so really in the long run it’s kinder. By avoiding the situation this can also lead to further upset as the other person will be conjuring up all sorts of scenarios/meanings of the situation in their minds and as our human minds work it will probably be very negative about them or you.

Q & A

What’s the point of loving someone if that person won’t love you back?

I am sorry to say, there is no point loving someone if you are 100% sure he/she doesn’t feel the same about you. It will just cause you pain and hold you back from meeting someone who can give you the love you deserve. It sounds like it’s time for you to start loving yourself, get yourself out of this situation and to take care of you.

If you’re in a relationship is it ok to still have a best friend ...

Q & A

If you’re in a relationship is it ok to still have a best friend of the opposite sex who you spend your time with…even share beds after long nights out?

Ok, well that’s the million dollar question, can men and women really just be friends? The question to ask yourself here is really in your gut instinct is there any more than feelings of friendship here, either on your side or on his or hers. You might not feel anything romantically inclined at all but deep down you probably would have an intuition if he/she does, even if you don’t want to admit it. Often with close male/female friendships there can be feelings involved at some stage from either party, it would be hard not too if you have lots in common, have fun together and have a great connection. This can be overcome though through honest conversations with each other to clear the air and establish the friendship lines…..that’s if you want just friendship!

I've recently come out of a long term relationship ...

Q & A

I've recently come out of a long term relationship and now when I'm alone I feel like I've lost everything. What can I do to fill the empty void?

It is hard when you come out of a long term relationship and it’s very easy to feel like everything has been lost, but it hasn’t. Instead of focusing on the things you perceive you have lost how about focusing on the things you have. First of all start a daily journal writing everything you are grateful for, you might like to do this morning and night. When you are in a state of gratitude it’s impossible to feel negative at the same time.
